SEPAC, Canada's Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs, was founded in 1986 to represent the interests of junior and independent oil and gas producers in Canada. The junior and mid-cap sector is a critical component of Canada's energy industry, drilling thousands of wells each year and investing billions of dollars in exploration and production.
Our mission is to:
- Advocate to governments regarding policy, legislation and regulatory issues to ensure that the interests of the emerging and junior explorer and producer are reflected in government and regulatory decisions;
- Communicate to our members about events and industry news that are important to their businesses; and
- Educate the public at large about the important role played by the emerging and junior exploration and production companies in providing jobs, investment and prosperity in communities across Western Canada, while working to meet Canada's present and future energy demands.
